Lunch takes a look at two overweight friends, and when one comes back from college a different person. Leaving her friend Leslie looking through the glass window. When I read this story, I was overwhelm on how I felt sorry for the character Leslie, hearing her thoughts as others watch her eat, thinking how hideous she looks. JD Kell does a great job in this short story, it’s a perfect hidden gem, one that should not be missed.
